Friends of Saratoga County Animal Shelter

Friends of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter was established 1 year ago and has had a very exciting year becoming a non-profit organization here to promote awareness of the Animal Shelter, support the building of a new shelter , help with education for the staff and assist in the care and welfare of the animals.

So far we have had a sucessful year with two annual Benefits to raise money and awareness of the county building a new shelter. We also held our first cat event called the Meow Luau which was the first of its kind in the area. It was a big hit.

FCAS has just received  its 501(c) (3) nonprofit status and looks forward to helping the shelter in many areas. Our mission is simple: to work closely with the shelter in identifying needs and helping create a healthy caring environment for the animals in shelter care. Our work is done through outreach to the community, educating the public on all the services offered by the shelter.
