Volunteer Program

Welcome to the Volunteers Page

We will be holding an informational dog walking class for our dog walking volunteers on October 3rd. Pending on our move in date, we will be having it at the new shelter.  We are at this time looking for people to volunteer to walk dogs. You must be at least 18 years of age, if under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.  We are looking for at least two hours of your time a week. If you are interested please feel free to fill out the application and submit it to us.  Please call the shelter to sign up for the class and ask for Tracy. Weekend volunteering is limited because it is only a 3 hour block on Sunday and  we only have limited spots. If you would like to volunteer in the evenings or on the weekends, our Clifton Park Annex Store is always looking for volunteers. You can call Jeanette @ 248-0355. This is just dealing with cats. If you are looking for a certain time that is not available, be patient, spots do open up.
