Well-dressed behatted lady sitting atop an ostrich; well-dressed gentleman observes and holds her purse and shawl; other ostriches beyond a fence (..honestly!..). Ostrich farm was located on Ballston Avenue (nka Price Chopper). There were ostrich races and the feathers were the rage at that time (very fashionable to adhere to hats of that era). Front view of Brookside Museum taken from opposite side of Gordon Creek–shows side yard and end of barn behind. Fairground Avenue visible.
