  • The last day to return your voted absentee ballot is November 3rd, but we recommend returning your ballot as soon as possible. Ballots may be dropped off at the Board of Elections or at any poll site during Early Voting and on Election Day.

Overseas and Military Absentee Voters

The Federal Post Card Application is for US citizens living overseas, active military members, and the spouses of active military members who wish to vote by absentee ballot. This application is valid for 4 years or 2 federal elections. If you move during that period, submit another application indicating your new address so we can be sure that you receive your ballot. You may email the application to , but we must also receive the original form in the mail.

Ballot Drop Boxes

There will be ballot drop boxes for absentee ballots at all Early Voting and Election Day poll sites. There will also be a drop box located at the Board of Elections office available 9am-5pm Monday-Friday starting September 23rd, and 6am-9pm on Election Day, November 3rd. All drop boxes will be monitored by Election Inspectors at each location. In order to avoid any lines, Election Inspectors will be directing voters to the drop boxes. Drop boxes will returned back to the Board of Elections by a bi-partisan team at the end of each Early Voting day and at the close of polls on Election Day and locked in our vault.
