Child Safety Restraints

Child Passenger Restraints Are Not An Option, They Are The Law!

Effective November 2009, while riding in a motor vehicle all children must be restrained in an appropriate child restraint system until they reach their 8th birthday. An appropriate child restraint system is one that meets the child’s size and weight recommended by the manufacturer. The safety belt in your vehicle is not designed for children.  Please remember: If the child is over age 8 but is still under 4’9″ tall or weighs less than 100lbs, it is still recommended that you continue to use a child restraint system.
