When you file your original DD-214 with the Saratoga County Clerk’s Office, your original document is protected forever and you will always be able to receive a certified copy from our office at no cost. You can also receive a F.A.V.O.R. card to get discounts from participating local businesses.

LLC Publications
The New York Department of State requires an LLC to publish its information in one daily and one weekly newspaper designated by the County Clerk’s Office.
The designated daily newspapers include The Saratogian, Times Union, Daily Gazette and Post Star. The designated weekly newspapers include The Express and Saratoga Today.

Notary Service
We have a number of dedicated staff members who can notarize your documents at no cost during regular business hours. Proper proof of identification is required.
Notary renewals for individuals are processed by the Department of State and must be done online.
Pistol Permits
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department processes all pistol permits. Saratoga County Clerk’s Office is only the filing agent.
