PaintCare makes it easy to recycle leftover paint by establishing drop off sites for latex- and oil-based architectural paint products, including paints, stains, sealers, and varnishes in Saratoga County. Paint must be dropped off in its original container with its original manufacturer’s label.

Paint may be disposed of at any of the Household Hazardous Waste collection events.

Scrap metal may be brought to your local transfer station.

Latex Paint Notice

Latex paints are water-based and are accepted, in liquid form only, at the Household Hazardous Waste events. Please dispose of hardened latex paint and empty paint cans with your regular household garbage.

Drop-Off: Yard waste may be disposed of at the Town of Halfmoon transfer station, Town of Corinth transfer station, and the Saratoga Springs Recycling Center.

Curbside Pickup: Please check with your local Department of Public Works to determine which municipalities offer curbside yard waste collection.

Objects with all liquids and glass removed such as scrap metal, stoves, hot water heaters, dishwashers, refrigerators, air conditioners, water coolers, microwaves, washer and dryers, grills, and more may be brought to the Saratoga County Recycling Center at 41 Weibel Ave for disposal.
