Local Early Intervention Coordinating Council

Parental Support

The LEICC is made up of a group of professionals and parents who are concerned with Early Intervention issues such as:

  • The planning for delivery and evaluation of Early Intervention Services for eligible children and their families
  • The identification of service delivery reforms necessary to promote the availability of Early Intervention Services within natural environments.
  • Matters relating to Early Intervention Policies and Procedures within the Municipality

All members of the council are appointed by the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors annually. LEICC meetings are open to the public.

The LEICC is composed of parents and professionals who advise the Early Intervention Official about the system of early intervention services for infants and toddlers who have disabilities and developmental delays. Meetings are open to the public and all parents, providers of children’s services, and any other interested party.
