Diabetes and PreDiabetes

Diabetes is a chronic disease that affects how your body turns food into energy; your body either doesn’t make enough insulin or can’t use the insulin it makes as well as it should.  There are 3 types of diabetes: Type 1, Type 2, Gestastional.  Visit the CDC’s website by clicking here for more information about diabetes.

PreDiabetes is a serious health condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed as type 2 diabetes.  PreDiabetes put you at risk to develop diabetes.
