Objective: Saratoga County is committed to protecting the quality and integrity of the County’s eligibility programs. Eligibility programs, like Medicaid, Temporary Assistance, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), Day Care and HEAP are a vital resource for many residents of Saratoga County.
The Department of Social Services pursues any suspected fraud and abuse throughout the various programs. Fraud and abuse are any intentional actions which result in a recipient or provider receiving benefits or payments to which they are not entitled.
