SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE LEASE OF A 2.82 ACRE PORTION OF THE SARATOGA COUNTY AIRPORT TO PRIME GROUP HOLDINGS, LLC

 

WHEREAS, Prime Group Holdings, LLC has expressed a desire to lease land at the Saratoga County Airport to construct, operate and maintain a 19,600 sq. ft. hangar with attached 30,000 sq. ft. two story office building for its use; and

WHEREAS, Section 352 of the General Municipal Law requires the Board of Supervisors to conduct a public hearing to consider whether the County should enter into a lease with Prime Group Holdings, LLC for the lease of 2.82 acres of land at the Saratoga County Airport for a term of forty (40) years commencing October 1, 2018 and continuing through September 30, 2058, at an initial annual rent of $22,551.40, subject to annual increase or decrease by the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for the year ending as of June 30 of that year;  now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Saratoga shall hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 4:25 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors at 40 McMaster Street, Ballston Spa, New York, for the purpose of considering whether the County should lease a 2.82 acre portion of Saratoga County Airport to Prime Group Holdings, LLC for the construction of a 19,600 sq. ft. hangar and attached 30,000 sq. ft. two-story office building, for a term of forty (40) years commencing October 1, 2018 and continuing through September 30, 2058, at an initial annual rent of $22,551.40, subject to annual increase or decrease by the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for the year ending as of June 30 of that year.
