Narcan Training Events

The Saratoga County Department of Health regularly holds Narcan distribution events throughout the county. Participants are trained in how to recognize an opioid overdose and administer nasal Narcan. Training takes about 10 minutes and a free Narcan Rescue Kit is provided. These are free, drop in events. All Narcan training events are listed on the countywide calendar.

    Naloxone Box Program

    The Naloxone Box serves as a public emergency intervention tool designed to house multiple, free, prepackaged doses of nasal naloxone spray to improve the capacity of bystanders in order to save the lives of those experiencing an opioid overdose. The contents of the boxes are free and open to the public.
