An original DD-214, or War Service Discharge, may be filed with the Saratoga County Clerk’s Office at any time. It is considered a sealed record and will only be accessible by the person on the discharge or their immediate family members. You may obtain a certified copy of your DD-214 at any time, free of charge. Filing your original DD-214 discharge papers will also make you eligible to join our Saratoga County Veteran’s F.A.V.O.R. Village of Victory

 
Village of Victory – The Victory Mill began operating as a cotton mill in 1846. In 1928 it was closed and moved to Alabama. Later it re-opened and operated under several different ownerships producing paper products and performing graphic printing.
Village of Victory – The Civil War Soldier’s Monument located in Prospect Hill cemetery was dedicated in an elaborate ceremony on October 17, 1904. Hundreds of citizens from the area participated in the ceremony.

County Attorney

The County Attorney is the legal advisor to the Board of Supervisors and to all county officials in all civil legal matters.  The County Attorney drafts all county legislation (local laws and regulations).  The County Attorney oversees all county contracts.  The County Attorney is counsel to the Department of Social Services, and represents the Department in Family Court matters.  The County Attorney prosecutes juvenile delinquents in Family Court.
